Here I am. At the airport, just by myself, I'm heading to Bali. Bali actually is my first backpacking trip, why'd I choose Bali? Because the whole of my family already went there for their holiday when I was sitting in the class for my exams. Shit, I know that was sucks. So... it's kinda like.. umm... a revenge? Can we call that so? LOL. I'm super excited, you can call me norak but well, I am. How could I didn't? Bali is one of everyone wanted to go place. And I'll be there in a few hours. I made an itenarary for my trip but I don't know, would it be as smooth as it planned? When this is also my first time in Bali Island. Arrived in Bali, I took a cab to Anomali Coffee, I think I kinda need a cup of coffee and lucky me, I have a friend who works there. Yash!

For my first day in Bali. Everything went well. I met some old friends, actually we were not just friends but squads since in highschool, I know right it seems like mini reunion or something. We had a lot of laughs, a lot of good food, and... of course, no doubt, Bali's perfect sunset. Anyway we spent our time in 707 Beach Berm, Batu Belig. Yas, we've been moving from Anomali Coffee to Beach Berm.. Beach Berm's such a great beach bar it has good music, and their beers very cheap haha (one of my reason to come back here, lmao), oh yes, I got more than all I need. I like this bar!

I was killing time and hang around beachwalk. Waiting for one of my friend to come and join my trip. Got him with me, and we both leaving Bali to Gili Trawangan with ferry, by Padang Bai. It's cheaper and we have no worries about it could take more few hours to go. Because I'm pretty sure the panorama wouldn't get us disappointed. 4 hours to Lombok, it was totally fine. We're arrived early morning there and need to reach another port, yes, Bangsal harbor. Means we need 30 minutes more to arrive in Gili T

Reached the Gili Trawangan, this island stole my heart even for the very first sight. I fell in love. White sands, blue clearly watersea, bars, and ah, no cars, motorbikes or any other engined vehicles. I can feel the island vibes here! We were looking for homestay and got it very cheap, IDR 150,OOO/night for 2 persons. We drop our things and rent the bicycles, we go out after to look around the famous Gili Island. Chill at the beach and get tanning could be nice tho. We found a super quiet beach here, just me and my friend, Ifnu. We definitely at the private beach right now. The sands is very unique, it's like white stone grit, but it wouldn't hurt your soles, well I never seen these kind of sands before. Swimming in the private beach is super cool, the water was very clear, and it's warm. If I could quit my job and live here even for poor internet connection I'll be ok. We move to another chilling spot, and guess what I've found? YAS! Beach swings at The Exile! Oh of course I wanna get there. And take some photos, no need to ask, please.

We was preparing ourselves to catch the sunset, but I'm worried, too cloudy. Anyway, it was Ifnu's birthday, I envy him who was celebrating his birthday in such a beautiful island. My bad, I dont even sang happy birthday for him. Went to the Ombak Sunset bar, I didn't expected it will be this crowd, but you still can get rilex. Actually people just made the line for taking some pictures in a couple swings tho. Anyway, we didn't get the sunset unfortunately, as I told you, the sky’s too cloudy at that time, but it doesn't matter, I enjoyed my chilling time here. One of my favorite things about Gili is, you can watching movie like literally by the beach, under the stars. Most of every resorts here has a movie spot, with the big screen and of course cozy benches. I think it's romantic too. Leave the Ombak Sunset and hunting for our dinner, so many bars here, it has their own concept. But I know this is not the right time for bar chilling anymore, I'm starving. I want everything about the sea. Yes.. Seafood!

We had dinner in art market, I had no idea why it's called art market when everything they sell is food? But nevermind. I just wanna eat.

It's the 3rd day of my trip. The itenarary said we should be in Nusa Penida, so yeah, sadly we're leaving Gili Trawangan (sad because there's actually another Gili that we wanted to visit, Gili Meno and Gili Air for snorkeling) and move to another paradise. Our day here was too fast, honestly I don't really wanna go, I literally left my heart in Gili

Nusa Penida located in the east side of Bali Island. When we went there, this Island was not as famous as now. I actually didn't get much information about this Island. All I know, this Island is the biggest one, is greater than the surrounding Islands, Lembongan and Ceningan. We didn't want to waste our time because our homestay was near Crystal Bay, this place literally instagramable and the sunset is LIT! No kidding! I took some silhuette photos, very insane! No filter needed. Oh God I couldn't ask for more

2nd day in Penida Island, would need a lot of effort. Exploring and adventuring. We planned to see the sunrise in Atuh Beach which is very famous as a sunrise spot. It's a beautiful beach surounded by cliffs. Bad roads, our bike became a motocross. But as people said, difficult roads will lead you to beautiful destination. I belive on it! And yes, let me know what do you think about this piece of heaven?

Ifnu is a great gadgetgrapher, I'm such a lucky to have him joined my trip. Hi buddy if you read this then you should buy me something good. Just kidding. I thank him because he rode the bike like literally all the time hahaha. Atuh Beach is breathtaking, we get down the cliff to reach the beach. Oh it was really exhausting, but priceless. The beach is absolutely cool, again and again there's no one unless I and Ifnu there. But for take some good photos we need to climb another cliff. Bad news, we're in the wrong cliff for that iconic spot. So yeah, l I'm gonna die! But see, I can't even be mad for the view, it's another level!

Enough for Atuh Beach, we such a runner time. We move to Batu Kandik Waterfall located in Guyangan, which is one hour by bike from Atuh. Sure we need to hurry. Batu Kandik was very clueless, seriously, you might thinking to visit Nusa Penida? I advice to ask the locals often about your destinations. Batu Kandik actually just a little nature infinity swimming pool, I think it's too mainstream to swim with the sea view in 5 starts hotel, so why didn't we try something new? Like swimming in the middle of cliffs, in natural infinity swimming pool, plus you got a sea view even much much much better? I can't describe how beautiful the place is, I lost my words. I even forget that I haven't get my breaky yet. that's why I had no power to up dozens the stairs when finished with this one.

When there's actually another natural infinity pool here in Nusa Penida, the famous one (for now) called Angel's Billabong. Actually I'm gonna ended up crying to talk about this unlucky story. Angel's Billabong is in our list from the first time we decided to visit Nusa Penida, but well... I know that every travelling story wasn't as perfect as it planned. And so we are. We were looking for this spot about an hour, no, actually almost 2 hours and we still can't find it. As I told you, Nusa Penida is clueless, unless you're going here with travel so you just need to sit back in the car and let the driver did his best to you, but not with us, we need to get to know it ourselves. I'm hopeless. And we met another traveller who was looking for the exact same place, so we followed them, and again, unlucky day, we can't reach the spot because the waves was so hard and dangerous for us. But thank God there's another beautiful place created, Broken Beach or Pasih Uug. I think it's actually not a beach but can you see the unique thing? There's a bridge formed and made it look broken in the middle, that's why this place named the Broken Beach. I regret the thing that I don't even take one photo of myself here. We burnt, super hungry, tired, and a bit disappointed, plus gotta chasing the boat for going back to Bali.. Ok at least I had some reasons to come back to Nusa Penida, there are many places that I haven't had time to go and see them all (like Kelingking Secret point, Suwehan Beach, Temelling Nature Pool, Angel's Billabong, etc). Calm down, maybe next time! I promise I'll be back to you Penida.

Last day in Bali, Ifnu and I are decided to do something touristy, we went to see Kecak Dance in Uluwatu Temple, it'll be shown with sunset as the background. Hey I mean it's gonna be amazing, isn't it? How couldn't you love the culture things mixed beautiful natural occurrence on it? I enjoyed the show so much even I was scared that the Hanoman will come over me or take my sunglasses.

I'm madly in love with Bali's culture.. Always a million reasons to loving Bali, the culture, people, beautiful beaches, cozy bars. Everything you need is here, and everything about Bali just get me falling in love even more and harder with this Paradise Island. I'm obsessed. For me Bali is like my second home. No matter how far you'd go, you always wanted to go home.

Single Fin's our last -clossing- destination, I love the atmosphere of this bar even it was too crowdy. No, prob. I wanna dance like nobody's care. So this place is perfect. I heard reggae and...one bottle of Bintang, please?! Oh.. let me enjoy the moment and dancing, can I see you later? In my next trip? Definitely!
